We love Senioa, Georgia. It is truly our happy place, not only because we are fans of The Walking Dead, but also because the town is so very charming on it’s own…aside from the show. The town features some great shopping and some fabulous restaurants. We had a chance to take a mini-escape to visit our friends at The Woodbury Shoppe (The Official The Walking Dead Store).
Senioa is West of Atlanta so if you are in the area we highly recommend that you visit The Woodbury Shoppe. If you are not in the area and don’t have plans to be in the near future, we will give you a mini virtual tour. The Woodbury Shoppe is also online, so even if you can’t make the trip you can still get some great AMC and Skybound officially licensed The Walking Dead ‘stuff and thangs’.
Who could have ever dreamed a store whose main theme is essentially Zombies, could be so charming? The store is very well planned with something interesting everywhere you look. The main floor is all shopping!
From coffee cups to glasses….
…to cut outs (this Carl might actually STAY IN THE HOUSE!)
…to hats and tees. (Check out the Alexandria tees! Love! Carrie grabbed one of these for herself.)
Not to mention, they have some really awesome wallets, jewelry, handbags, totes, lunch boxes!
Check out this Awesome pinball machine. (You may recall seeing this somewhere. . .)
Back to the shopping….they have collectibles, keychains, socks, comics… and so much more! You should most definitely follow The Woodbury Shoppe on Facebook. (We do!)
Be sure you mosey downstairs too!
The Walking Dead Museum which features some cool props from the series like Daryl’s bike and a prison cell from season 3.
Be sure to take a moment and read the walls…. they are filled with autographs from your favorite TWD actors!
When you go back up go visit our friends in the The Waking Dead Cafe which serves your favorite Starbucks beverages as well as their own merchandise!
The whole Woodbury Shoppe experience is truly a must for the Walking Dead fan. Below are a few photos from our personal albums. We try to get down Senioa and The Woodbury Shoppe as often as we can and we hope to visit again very soon.
